What Causes Orange Color Urination After Taking Azo Urinary Pain Relief?

I self-diagnosed a bladder infection and went to Walmart and purchased AZO Maximum Strength Urinary Pain Relief Tablets. I took one dose (2 pills) last night about 8pm, another dose this morning about 6am, and another this afternoon about 12:30pm. My urine is bright orange! What should I do?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
Nothing to do. This is a normal reaction to this type of medication and it is harmless. Remember though that azo is for pain relief only and does not cure an infection. Most infections clear up on their own but if yours does not or if it appears to be getting worse, see a doctor
Regards
