What Causes Orange Fat Deposit In Stool?

i have orange oil/grease in my stool (lots) - it actually floats to the top of the water- it stains the toilet. This has been happening for a few days. Nothing different in my diet - but i have had a sinus infection for a few mos (a mold issue in my attic being treated). I was on a steroid - finished that about a month ago and an abx but it didn t fix the issue. waiting to see an ent. don t think its related but not sure, anyway- freaked about the weird grease.

Hello, Thanks for the query.
Presence of orange oil, or fat globules in stools is an indication that fat absorption is not adequate in the intestine. This is also referred as steatorrhea. It does signify presence of certain conditions like malabsorption. It is better to consult your personal physician. Therefore, apart from meeting the ENT specialist do see a physician or a Gastroenterologist. Thanks.
