What Causes Outbreak Of Hives Along With Prominent Veins Radiating Between Chest And Neck?

Hello. I have a friend who recently broke out in what looks like hive s. Now she has what looks like enlarged veins in her upper left chest, above breast, to the right, but not in armpit, or as far up as her neck. This may have nothing to do with it, but the more information, the better possible answer. She is over weight, drinks often, and is very sexually unsafe with many men.

Hello,

* As per my clinical experience, the presentation of your friend with hives involving chest above breast looking like enlarged veins may be part of Syphillis infection or Kaposi sarcoma lesions seen in HIV patients in the presence of multiple sex partners with unprotected intercourse.

* After thorough clinical examination, I do recommend:

@ complete hemogram
@ ESR
@ HIV - 4 th generation
@ Treponema Pallidum antibody
@ others
