What Causes Ovarian Cyst Despite Taking Depo Shots?
Hi, I have several fibroids as well as a cyst on my left ovary. I had a myomectomy 2 years ago and the fibroids came back about 7 months later (well, not sure exactly when they came back but that s when the symptoms came back really bad). I am about 30 pounds ovverweight and I heard the HCG injection is good to help you lose weight but I m scared it will make the fibroid symptoms worse. I was on the depo birth control injection for about 7 months and my menstruation was normal but it lasted every day for a year so I m scared to go through something like that again. What do you think?
Hcg is usually not indicated for weight loss. its not a approved medication, fibroids is a condition which usually depend on hormones for their growth and development, once u cross ur 40's there wil be less symptoms with fibroids and to avoid complications of carcinoma and bleeding fibroids, its advised to undergo hysterectomy once u completed ur family.. if u mention ur age it wil be more helpful for me to give a suggestion more precisely.. any way i advice u to go for an MRI pelvis and PAP smear for follow up.
