What Causes Over Weight After Removing Right Ovary?

Hello, I am 32 years old and 11 weeks ago I had my right ovary removed due to an 11cm cyst that twisted, had a 5 cm solid mass (non cancerous) removed from my left ovary, and some fibroids removed from my uterus. 2 weeks in there was a superficial split in the incision. Now I have no pain but it looks like I have gained a ton of weight but just in my stomach. But when i step on the scalem I weigh the same as I did pre-op! My doctors never mentioned anything about this. Is this a permanent change in my body? What can I expect and what can I do about it?
