Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am 62 and in pretty good health. I weigh 185 and am 5 8 . I fell this morning on a linoleum floor. My left leg extended out in front of me and I fell hard on my butt. Nothing appears broken, I can walk but slowly and gingerly. I have pain above the knee, on the sides of the knee and down into my calf. Is this just normal bruising? Hopefully. What should I watch for?
You are having urinary tract infection which may be still persisting. After taking antibiotics, if the urine is sent for culture it will show sterile or clear. You may have to take antibiotic Norflox for another week. Also, take syrup Citralka. Drink lots of water and 2 tender coconuts per day. With this UTI and urethral discharge should subside.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Sanjay Kini
