What Causes Pain Above The Navel?

The pain started gradually Sunday night and is a lot worse. It is my upper abdomen about 3 fingers above my belly button and to the right side. I am having problems walking because of trouble with my left knee and wonder if I might have pulled a muscle trying to walk with my cane.

Hi pain in that area indicate epigastric pain avoid spicy foods and cold and hot drinks had soft diet and high fiber rich diet if notrelieving please consult once doctor had. an appropriate treatment
