Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have had a headache about an inch to inch and a half above my right ear. It goes up into the right side of my forehead. It s been coming and going for almost two weeks. Worse in the evening and night. I feel like I have vertigo when it gets bad. I get light headed when the pain is worse! I get very bad sinus headaches, but NEVER in this area. Can someone give me an idea of what it is and if I need to get to a doctor. Thank you!

What Causes Pain Above The Right Ear?
Hi, It might be due to middle ear infection or involvement of mastoid. Consult an ENT specialist and get a CT scan done. As of now, you can take analgesics like Acetaminophen or Diclofenac for pain. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
