What Causes Pain All Over The Body?

I ve recently had an episode of all over body pain, from my head to my feet, that was not diagnosed. It did feel like nerve pain -- burning in my skin. As well as throbbing pain in different muscles or even bones. I was put on gabepenton, and it helped a gread deal. Now, I feel better, but don t know what happened to me. And do I stay on this medicine all my life? by the way, it happened on my first day of vacation from a very stressful job. Thanks.
