What Causes Pain Along With The Feeling Of Blockage In Ear?
I ve been sick for 5 days now, I went to the doctor and they tested me for strep and mono and I had neither. It was hard to swallow but I woke up this morning and my throat felt better. Now my ear is in pain...something I ve never felt before. Everytime I tilt my head to the left it feels like something is in my ear. I tried putting hot towels on it and rubbing alcohol but nothing s working please help!
Hello, The diseases of ear nose and throat are quite closely related, and an infection in one place can easily spread to the other. From what you have told it seems that your middle ear might have gotten infected. I would advise you not to put anything in your ear as it may worsen the situation. You should get your ear examined and you might also need antibiotics if you haven't been prescribed eariler. Co-amoxiclav would be a decent choice.
