What Causes Pain And A Hard Lump On The Buttocks?
The other day a pain started in my butt cheek. I thought I was getting a spot there. It felt tender like the start of one. It never came to anything but now you can feel an obvious hard lump the size of a cherry tomato, deep in my butt cheek. It does seem to move around and not be attached. Should I be worried?

Hematoma or other benign (non-cancerous) swellings are possibilities. Consult a general surgeon and plan for an ultrasound scan.
If there is diagnostic confusion a fine needle biopsy may be required to make a diagnosis.
