Hi Dear,

welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of pain and bleeding from ears which is something you should be concerned about. It could be due to ruptured eardrum or perforation of tympanic membrane. Need not to worry. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for perfect diagnosis and treatment. Avoid touching or pricking ears with any sharp object and maintain complete hygiene. Doctor may use pneumatic otoscopy for diagnosis of infection along with other tests like tympanometry, acoustic reflectometry or tympanocentesis. If infection will be there doctor may prescribe antibiotic course along with ear drops. For now take ibuprofen if not allergic or paracetamol for pain and swelling.

Hope your concern has been resolved.

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain ear ache along with leaking ear are indications of ear infection and as the pain started after cleaning the ears there is a possibility that you have traumatized the eardrum while cleaning the ear if you got too deep inside.

I would suggest you to consult an Otolaryngologist and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation and investigations like otoscopy, x ray etc can help in diagnosis..

He can be advised antibiotic and analgesic ear drops along with oral antibiotics and painkillers..
It will help in resolution of infection and pain and also healing the eardrum if it is injured..

In case if there is a large perforation in eardrum surgical correction via Tympanoplasty procedure is advisable..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
