What Causes Pain And Bleeding From The Penis?

I used to be extremely sexually active but now it s been a couple of years because I got clam, and a couple other curables that scared me into stopping my sexual activity. That said: A week ago I decided to do a couple of things I rarely do, the first drink the second masturbate. When done my penis hurt a bit and dark red blood came out. Then pee a few minutes later was fine. I waited a few days but decided to go to emergency room just in-case and pee test says healthy. Penis feels irrate and I repeat no sex anywhere near recent enough to be the cause. Being the scientist that I am I wanted to know what the heck is/was up so today I masturbated again and Lo and behold my discharge was brown. Obviously, it s time to visit a urologist...but between now and then...can anyone explain this???

Blood in seminal fluid can be because of any infection in prostate ,urethra or epididymis.Brown discharge denotes some old bleeding.
Next possibility is sexually transmitted disease like chlamydia or gonorrhea.
Yes,you need to visit urologist.Physical examination,blood test plus semen analysis will be done.
Antibiotics course may be prescribed for 7-10 days to cover up with infection.
If you are having symptoms like pain in lower abdomen,increased frequency of urination,burning micturation,cause of bleeding may be infection of bladder or kidney in which case urinanalysis may be required.
Avoid doing masturbation or unprotected sex till treatment done as it may increase the problem.
