Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have pain around my belly button. I am overweight by about 20 ibs or a little more. My stomach is big and it looks like my belly button is sticking out a little bit. The pain seems to be around my belly button the most. I feel it when I am walking or if I twist my belly. It is less when I sit down . I am wondering if I got a hernia or it is because i am too over eight and that is causing the pain in my belly. How can you tell the difference?

Umblical hernia without the history of a previous abdominal surgery is highly unlikey in adults. Moreover you don't have other remarkable symptoms. So its look like a muscle cramp. Take tablet nuberol forte 1xPO × BD.
