What Causes Pain And Bruise On Upper Arm After Injecting Pain Killer?
I was admitted into hospital for surgery, and while the nurse was injecting pain killer into my drip I felt pain n inflammation. This is a week later and I still have slight pain and bruising on my upper arm, and a swollen vein in my wrist which looks like the swelling getting worse.

From history it seems that there might be having some extravasation of injecting material producing irritation giving this problem.
There is possibility of thrombophlebitis as well.
Apply ice pack 2-3 times a day for few days.
Apply Thrombophob cream locally.
Ok and take care.
