What Causes Pain And Bulge On Neck When Taking Treatment For Osteoarthritis?

I am 63 yrs. old and a side from being slightly over weight, I have osteoarthritis which is causing me a great deal of pain. The pain is being treated presently but I am constantly in pain still. Also today while putting on my makeup, I noticed a buldge on my neck . It sort of looks like veins buldging. Could this be something I should be concern about? I failed to mentioned that there is n pain associated with this buldge. YYYY@YYYY

Hi, Welcome to Health care magic forum.
As you describe you have osteoarthritis, and the concerned pains.
You can have complete relief of osteoarthritis, if you can reduce your weight.
The swelling in the neck may be due to the jugular pulse, or may be the lymph node due to some reason.
It is always better to consult a physician for diagnosis and treatment. You may need to have E.C.G, and echo cardiogram for diagnosis.
wishing for a quick and complete recovery. Thank you.
