What Causes Pain And Burning Sensation Around A Hernia Mesh?

I have had surgery for a hernia and the doctor used a mesh to cover the intestine. It has been stinging and burning since the surgery which was done on march 9 th. Is this something that I should be concerned about? I have a follow up next week on Thursday to talk to him about this pain. YYYY@YYYY

There could be irritation due to urine contamination and fungal infection. Dryness can also make you itchy. You can use anti-fungal, lubricating agents and improve hygiene.
