What Causes Pain And Burning Sensation In The Abdomen?

I am having abdominal pain and burning, rectal bleeding . I have previously had pylori infection. Could this be the problem? I went to the ER and had blood work and they seemed to think it was a stomach infection and put me on 2 antibiotics and my dr will have results in 3 days. It s scary when you see blood and it s bright red!!

Hello, thanks for your query at Healthcare Magic.
I understand your concern.

I'll go straight to the "rectal bleeding" point, where you think the blood is bright red. If the blood is brightly colored, then certainly the source of hemorrhage is in the lower gastrointestinal tract (colon, rectum, and anus).

To that end, I suspect some things:
1, Hemorrhoids, the blood that appears bright red. Hemorrhoids are enlarged veins in the anal area that can rupture and produce blood, which can show up in the toilet or on toilet paper.
2. Ulcerative colitis, inflammation and extensive surface bleeding from tiny ulceration can be the presence of blood in the stool.
3. Crohn's disease is an immune system condition. It causes inflammation and can result in rectal bleeding.

Currently, just continue to use antibiotics in 3 hearts since your visit to ER. If it does not improve, I recommend that you consult a gastroenterologist who may perform an endoscopic or colonoscopy examination to look at the source of the bleeding. Handling will be adjusted for the cause,

Some tips for you:
1. Try not to pass the urge of defecation.
2. Eat enough fiber like vegetables and fruit, and drink mineral water, so the stools are more soft.
3. Have enough rest time.
4. Avoid stress.
5. Do regular exercise and keep your ideal weight.

Hope it helps enough.

Take care.
