Hi Dear Bhopinder! I have gone through your question and I understand your concern.
I would say that yes pain and burning sensation of the feet may be caused of
nerve damage , we call it sensory neuropathy .The nerves that controls your sensation such as your pain and touch are damaged .
To confirm the diagnosis and to find other cause you should do some other examination, also your local doctor will check your motor nerves that controls the muscles movement to see if they are damaged to . I would write some conditions that may cause your symptoms ( nerve damage ) :
-
Diabetes : affect the nerve and cause these symptoms so you should controll the blood sugar .
-vitamine B12, B1,B6, E , Niacine deficiency : need a simple blood test to check your vitamins levels .
One of the cause of vitamine deficensy Is alchohol.
-Trauma or pressure of the nerve - will be necessary to do a CT of your back and legs , To rule out .
-
kidney diseases ,
hypothyroidism,
liver dissease -in there case the toxin remains in your body and damage the nerves .Liver function test, kidney test , thyroid level hormons may help to confirm.
-Infection :Lyme, Ebstein Bar ,
Hepatitis C ect.
-Tumors,
Your local doctor all the full neurological examination, blood tests , CT or MRI, nerve
biopsy,Electrophysiology ect.According To the cause will start the treatment .
Wish you good health.
