What Causes Pain And Burning Sensation In The Fingers While On Amlodipine?

I have been taking both amlodopine and carvidilol to treat my blood pressure for more than ten years now .I started taking them in my country of origin (West Africa) came into this country in 2013 April , but i started getting some nerve pains and getting burning and numbing in my fingers . I was reffered to an OT in Bridgeport hospital and was treated for almost a year but still the fingers are burning , and i also have a back/nerve pains coupled up with chronic constipation . I did colonoscopi in January and the bowel is moving now well . To cut it short , am thinking that taking these medications for so long is causing all these other health problems . my primary physician recently added Lisinopril to the Amlodipine for the pressure and stopped me from taking carvidilol . Please advise what I will do.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

It is not related to Amlodipine.

If symptoms persist better to consult a neurologist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
