What Causes Pain And Burning Sensation In The Groin Area And Knees?

I can t lift my left leg when laying flat...pain in groin and burning in my left knee...my leg feels like it weighs a 100 lbs....been going on for a month...had a hip X-ray...Dr said it was ok...had knee xrayed..was told I have bone spurs and bone on bone...dr referred me to PT....my concern is if there is a pinched nerve from my back will PT damage it further...I didn t have any fall or injury...it just started hurting one day and has gotten worse ever since....taking 300 mg caps of Gabapentin 3xd....and 2aleve tabs 2xd...and still hurting....I m afraid PT is just going to cause damage...saw on the internet that others suffer from these symptoms too..what could be causing this type of burning pain...

Hi,

So far as symptoms narrated here, sounds bone segment or joint space issue. There will be no harm with physiotherapy to the nerve. Continue the current management and later on consult with MRI report if done.
