General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The pain and burning sensation in the vagina after intercourse could be due to 2 main reasons:
- vaginal candida thrush
- hard/dry sex.

Do not rush when having sex, give her time to get a full orgasm with discharge (getting wet) enough to avoid laceration during dry sex.

Can use lubricants as an alternative.

Plus, apply clotrimazole and vaginal flora restoring cream to ease the symptoms.

Keep well hydrated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
