What Causes Pain And Cracking Noise In Hips And Leg During Workout?

Hi, I m 25 and workout regularly. I have no pain in my hips but my left pops a lot and sometimes makes a crunchy noise when I externally rotate my left leg. Recently I began jogging more and am noticing I bear more weight on my right leg when running and am getting plantar fasciitis in my right foot as a result. Could my hips be out of place? Or is it something I should be more concerned about? In high school I was diagnosed with sacroillitis in my left side but with icing it 2x a day and laying off treadmill running the symptoms (pain and locking after sitting) did get better.
