What Causes Pain And Cramping In Leg With History Sciatica In Buttock And Leg?

I had an epidural for sciatica in the right buttock and right leg and it stopped the pain there but the sharp pain and cramping in the top front of my right leg is still there and making it difficult to lift the right leg to walk properly. What is causing that pain.? There s no bulging hernia or anything like that. Just pain.

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hi there.

You could probably have a slipped disc in your lower spine such us causing nerve pinching. Consult your Orthopaedic surgeon and get an MRI to detect the problem. Avoid bending forwards and lifting heavy weights.

Thanking you.

Regards,

Dr. Aashish Raghu
