What Causes Pain And Discharge From Navel After Gall Bladder Removal?

i had my gallbladder taken out 3 wks ago and i have a bad smelling discharge with some belly button pain the discharge stinks very bad. i have tried to get in with the dr but thats not working. i work at a hospital and was wondering if i should go to ER?

give detail of surgery. it can be fistula connecting the operation site. it requires dressing and a probe can be used to know the extent and limit. a sterile gauge can be inserted to discharge site betadine lotion can be applied.
