Internal Medicine Specialist, Dr. Suneel's Response
Hi,
Even though X-ray is not revealing bone injury, definitely muscles micro or bone micro-injury is common, which may not be identified. You need plaster over ribs which gives rest over adjoining muscle.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
