What Causes Pain And Discomfort In Lower Stomach After Having Total Hysterectomy?

I had a total hysterectomy 14 weeks ago, I went back to my doctors 2 weeks as was having pain in my lower stomach ( sore shooting pains ) and a smell, I was told I had thrush. I had a tablet to swallow, it seemed to work but I am having discomfort again and a slight discharge, have I got thrush again or could it be something else.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

If you are having recurrent discharge and discomfort then it is likely that the vaginal candidiasis has recurred.
It may not be possible to have a repeat of the oral tablet which was likely diflucan but your doctor can give you topical medication to use.

I hope this helps
