Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am 41 yrs old and had lower right abdomen pain that has now spread to upper right abdomen pain and pressure against right rib and back. The doctor found a thickness in my colon but on a CAT scan but nothing on colonoscopy . Pain is worse everyday . Not sure where to go from here ?
Thickness could indicate conditions like inflammatory bowel disease, or even irritable bowel syndrome and a few others. So speak to a specialist who may diagnose you based on the minimal findings or take it forward by conducting a few other investigations. Follow a safe diet until then, and consult a nutritionist to kearn about and avoid trigger foods.
Best wishes.
