I went to the doctor today after being sick for 3 days with major sinus discomfort and pain. I can t hear out of one of my ears very well, and when the doctor checked, she found that I had an ear infection. I was then sent home with a prescription of amoxicillin. I ve only had 2 of the pills which I am supposed to take 3 a day for 10 days, so I understand that the meds haven t quite kicked in yet. However the pressure and pain in my face and head have transferred to my jaw, which I belive if probably an issue because of the amount of breathing I now do through my mouth since my nose is so stuffy. But I have also noticed that the pressure behind my eyes is a lot worse, and also makes it hard for me to sleep with the amount of discomfort. I also noticed that my eyes seem to be protruding a bit, and this is very noticeable to me especially when I rub my eyes after a nap or anything. I was just wondering if this should be cause for concern, or if the amoxicillin will help with relieving the pressure in my face. Should I go to the doctor again? Or should I wait a day and see if anything changes?
