What Causes Pain And Discomfort In The Shoulder After An Injury?

I fell last summer (early September) hitting my shoulder on our outdoor furniture. At the time it was not too painful, but lately I have noticed more discomfort when reaching my arm back away from my body and now I have more achy pain on a more regular basis. What can this be caused from so long after the fallor is it even related?

You may have injured a nerve,get an mri done & start with physiotherapy & hot compress for pain relief take brufen
