What Causes Pain And Discomfort In The Stomach?

Hi My stomach has been bothering me. It seems to hurt a lot of the time. Not a bad pain but I do feel some discomfort. It has been going on for a few weeks. I was on vacation when I got a case of travelers diarrhea and took imodium to stop it and the discomfort has occurred since then along with slight constipation. Suggestions welcome.

Hi,

I think the discomfort and the pain you are experiencing are due to constipation. You might benefit by taking some fiber supplements to help with the bowel movement and also some lactulose 1-2 table spoon a day for a few days (the fiber can be taken for a couple of weeks).

Make sure you drink plenty of fluids and eat fruit and vegetables and try to be active and exercising.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
