Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello. My name is Steve Edwards. I m sitting here with my 21 year old son, who is currently crying because he is experiencing some electrical shocking type pain in his testicles. I have just been informed that this has been going on for about 3 weeks and he has also developed a few lumps on each testicle that seem to be getting larger, and he describes them as connected to something inside in testicles not just on the outside skin. They are a bit swollen and red and needless to say I am very scared for him and trying to get a 21 year old young man to go to an ER on Friday night at 12am to have his testicles looked at is pretty difficult to say the least! Can you give me any advice besides the obvious, get him checked out ASAP!

What Causes Pain And Discomfort In The Testicles?
Hello, We have to rule out possible causes like torsion and epididymitis. Consult a general surgeon and plan for a Doppler study for further evaluation. As a first line management, you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
