What Causes Pain And Discomfort In The Upper Abdomen After An Injury?

I had a bike crash 5 days ago and landed on the left side of my bike. I have a concussion and back pain, but two days ago I started to notice some pain and discomfort in my left upper abdomen. I m concerned that this could be an injury to my spleen. Please advise.

Hi welcome to health care magic...

You have accident history...

So it could be yes spleen injury or simple bruise ...

USG abdomen like investigation helpful to rule out spleen injury ...

Ibuprofen tablet given for five days ...

Avoid strenous work ...

Take rest

Advise : Surgeon consultation for examination and further work up

If splenic injury is more or tear and conservative management fails than surgical management done

Take care
