What Causes Pain And Discomfort On Shoulder Blade And Neck?

Pain and discomfort especially on left shoulder blade and neck area. I have been painting both inside and outside projects but haven t been painting for a few days and no improvement. It has caused problems with sleeping unless I take an Advil PM, but am reluctant to regularly take medication.

Dear friend,thank you for your consultation.I have gone through your case history very carefully and now I know you are having a muscular pain because of painting which engages both your hand and neck.butregular taking of any pain relieving medications like Advil PM can cause side effects like gastritis.so only in case of severe pain take this after meal.I sincerely believe you will be benefitted if you start regular home regimen of physiotherapy of neck and shoulder.so with infrequent medication and regular physiotherapy ,Ipresume,you will be able to lead a pretty normal life in future.my best wishes to you.thank you.
