What Causes Pain And Extreme Soreness Behind The Left Ear?

I have an extremely sore area behind my left ear, just above where my glasses sit. There is nothing visible from the outside, and I wondered if I should be concerned about a possible aneurism. I appears to be a boney area that hurts, but it s not exactly clear. It hurts less now than it did earlier in the day, but it s very tender. I m not concerned about the pain, but I need to knwo if I should be concerned about an aneurism.

Hi,

What you described is very unlikely to be an aneurysm. Pain and soreness that is localazied, and can be pressed to cause pain is very unlikely to be aneurism.

So do worry about it. This may be an infection, or an insect bite etc. If it's settling it's very fine else see your doctor know what exactly this might be.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
