Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Pain And Feeling Of Having Air In Knee Cap After Injury?
Had a MCL injury last year (January 2015) and re-injured it in July. I keep having moments where it pops laterally, and i am not even doing anything (getting in or out of a car). I also feel like there is an air bubble under my knee cap and feel as though the knee cap may be shifted to the right side some. At times I also have pain that goes down the right side on my leg and into the right plantar side of my foot. I am worried that I may have a tear, thoughts?
