What Causes Pain And Increase In Size Of Testicles?
hey .............doc .....m a 19 year old boy .........actually the size of my right testies has expanded and there is a little pain in it .........some times ...............so is it harmful...........plz advice me what i should do .........what is the reason of this...?

1.Testicular size increase and pain is seen in inflammatory changes, presence of mass lesion, hydrocele and hernias.
2.To evaluate the cause gold standard test is ultrasound scan.
3.Ultrasoun will help to evaluate the status of the testicles, presence of any inflammatory changes, mass lesion, collection of fluid, chord status, vascular abnormality.
4.Depending on the findings if its inflammation needs a course of antibiotics.
5.In case of hydrocele, hernia, mass lesion - operative treatment is required. Good luck.
