What Causes Pain And Inflammation In The Joints?

I m just curious if elevation has an effect on a persons joints. I recently moved to a higher elevation than I have always lived and I ve noticed my joint pain has substantially increased. I have a history of joint pain and inflammation but it s now been constant. I m wondering if elevation could be the cause.

Hello welcome to the health care magic

You have not mentioned which joints are involved

Osteoarthritis or multisystemic disease like rheumatoid arthritis, SLE etc can be ruled out

Investigate with RA factor, local joint x ray, ANA and serum uric acid as per need

Higher elevation don't lead such problem

Check your vitamin D and calcium level as well

Take care

Hope this will help you

Consult orthopedic surgeon for examination and discuss all these
