What Causes Pain And Inflammation On The Left Side Of The Nose?

I have dry eye disease but I am now having inflammation one the left side of my nose with pain. when I put heat on my eyes as told by my doc. I get a sticky white mucus, a lot on my left eye which has a plug and a little on my right, Should I stay away from people, could it spread to them.

Hi,

Probably you developed conjunctivitis may be due to infection or allergy. Use Carboxymethyl cellulose eye drops thrice a day for five days. If you feeling of matting of eye lashes or redness or itching of eyes means you have to consult your ophthalmologist he will examine and treat you accordingly.
