What Causes Pain And Irritation In Anus With A Bumpy Ring Around It?
hi i am going through the exact same problem mentioned above i have an irritation in my anus actually it is forming a bumpy ring around the anus its been hurting for like a month now ive seen many doctors they said it was just an allergy and the last doctor gave me permanganade de potassium to use day and night and it helped a bit but days later i started again to feel the exact same pain n im really sick of this because many doctors have checked it out and i havent been give the right cure yet..can you please help!!
It is possible that the lesion may be due to infection in that area. This may be in the form of an abscess ( a localized collection of pus). Other causes of pain in the anal region would be a fissure which is a small split or tear in this region.
You may want to consider consulting a general surgeon who may be able to help you determine the cause of the pain.
The treatment would depend on the cause. An abscess would need to be incised . An anal fissure is treated mainly with supportive treatment which would help it to heal.
I hope this helps
