What Causes Pain And Loss Of Hearing In The Right Ear Along With Tinnitus?

Pain in ears, ringing sound in right ear since 15 days. Reduction in hearing from both the ears. Ringing and tinnitus in right ear since 15 days. Because of ringing sound headake in right ear. 15 days back I encountered sudden hearing lose in right ear. Now I am able to hear little bit but ringing sound is persisted in right ear. I had 10 days steroid IV and tablets

The differential diagnosis of your tinnitus could be meniere disease,acoustic neuroma,post noise exposure,ototoxic medications.The initial management strategy in your case will be to do an audiometry test and mri brain.Treatment is then directed accordingly.
