General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

It can be due to nerve compression at spinal level so for reassurance, X-ray cervical and lumbar may be needed to look for any signs of reduced space or nerve compression possibility. Also detailed sensory neurological examination may be needed. Meanwhile, using OTC analgesic like acetaminophen or ibuprofen may be helpful for symptomatic relief.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
