What Causes Pain And Numbness In The Arm After An Injury?

I fell down the stairs couple months ago. Didn t have any bad pain until I left my seasonal job and started staying home with kids more oftrn. Now feels like should blade is being ripped apart get worse when moved. I ve been putting off going to Dr because I have two small children and my husband works 12+ hours a day. Sometimes arm will go numb with sever pain in shoulder blade area and travels down arm also travels up left side of neck. Sometimes causing migraine.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi,

You might have suffered a minor nerve injury and it will give rise to the symptoms. It does not seems like a major one and thus improve well with conservative management. Better to consult an orthopedic surgeon and get an MRI scan done for further assessment.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
