General & Family Physician, Dr. Maninder's Response
Hi,
From the description provided by you, it is pointing towards tissue injury. I would suggest you proper rest and ice treatment. In case the pain worsens, you may take Tab Diclofenac. Also, you may apply Diclofenac gel locally. But again, the most important part remains the rest, so that the tissues get proper time for healing, otherwise, it will keep on getting re-injured. In case, the symptoms worsen, please go for radiological examination of the part to rule out any serious damage to the leg.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Maninder, General & Family Physician
