Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have constant haematuria however occasionally the blood is visible and heavy. On testing there is no evidence of infection. I had quite severe pain this morning and although I felt I needed to urinate urgently I could not. I eventually passed several clots and have been able to urinate successfully. The visible blood has subsided during the day but I have continued to have pain in my left side and back.
You have a hematuria from the genitourinary tract. I suggest you do the following test: CBC, CEA, MCU, PSA, bladder sonogram. Consult your doctor with the results.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Chibitam Obia, General & Family Physician
