Hello, I was wondering if you could shed some light on a ribcage issue I ve been dealing with. A few years ago I got into a foolish little drunkin brawl with a buddy. Being in the inebriated state we were in, both fear and the recognition of pain were completely absent in us. So as you could imagine... things escalated quickly. The focus of our blows remained upon each other s ribcages for the duration of the fight, for we were bound by a pre-brawl agreement which mandated no shots above the neck or below the waist. This allowed for wave after wave of rib rattling blows. The next morning, when Pain and his wise brother Sobriety paid me a visit, I found that every breath I took to be excruciating for my lower left ribcage, but I was in the military at the time... training for Special Forces, So I had to suck it up and mention nothing to anyone about it, especially a military doctor who could end my chances of completing the grueling indoctrination course I was about to graduate. I ended up graduating the course, and after a couple of months the pain was mostly gone and after about a year or two I felt it had healed completely, but recently I slightly over twisted my waist while kicking my leg out and now that same area of my ribcage that I thought had healed became loose. It doesn t really hurt that bad this time but I can feel something moving around in there. I feel somthing rubbing against my ribs on the inside, on the outside and occasionally on my upper pelvis which I can sometimes feel whatever is loose in there get caught on. It will slightly ache at times accompanied by the feeling of a bowed pressure which will extend from the lumbar region of my back all the way to the front where I feel whatever is loose in there. How I m sitting or how long I ve been sitting will dictate multiple times a day which of the many uncomfortable and annoying manifestations this injury will reveal itself.
