What Causes Pain And Pressure In The Chest While Suffering From Diabetes?

Hi, I am a 62 yr old female , in fair health I do take b/p med but my b/p is in good control, I am a diabetic , that also is very well in good control , lately I have been having a lot of chest pain and pressure, and it feels like a tight band around my chest , no arm pain , also some burning , , and some bloating in my stomach , I don t want to seem look like a fool at the ER , and it just be gas ,

Hi,

Thanks for your question.
Noted your concern.

One should not neglect these symptoms especially in the presence of diabetes.
There is a need for ECG and Cardiac enzymes (Troponin levels).
Heart related issues need to be ruled out first.
I may suggest to go to ER.
Till then use antacid like omeprazole.
