What Causes Pain And Pressure In The Chest?

I have chest pain, chest pressure and feel like my heart is beating erratically sometimes. It sounds odd but some times, when I m really still it sounds like my heart is squishing out the blood and not pumping it, like it doesn t have a regular beat. Like I am used to.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Heart beating can be felt normally by any person. However when it's erratic, or when it is accompanied by chest pain, chest tightness or difficulty in breathing, we always need to evaluate to rule out any rhythm problem of the heart. So I understand you should see your doctor and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Mahboob Ur Rahman,
