What Causes Pain And Pressure In The Head Upon Waking Up?

A couple weeks ago I started waking up every morning with a headache, nothing terrible, just pressure on the top front. Then nausea was added about a week into it. Then I started experiencing random waves of vertigo, my headache started feeling like burning and tingling. When I d stand up I d feel a rush in my head, increased pressure, my heart would stop momentarily and then beat really hard, I d feel like I was gonna pass out. Saw my Dr 2 weeks into this on wed, who ordered a CT and prescribed me sumatriptan, 100 MG and 50 if 100 was too much. Two days later the day the CT is scheduled I wake up with the worst migraine I ve ever had, had me in tears, but it was a typical migraine, pain on the right side behind my eye and at the base of my skull. I started the sumatriptan the next day and suddenly I m constantly short of breath, extremely weak, if I wasn t laying down I felt like I d pass out. Partner had to help me shower even. So I went to the er. CT results showed nothing, they did an ekg, which was normal. Diagnosed me with migraines. While I waited at the er though I didn t take any more sumatriptan and the heart issues subsided so I made the connection and stopped taking it, no longer short of breath or that weak, still have issues when I stand up though. 2 days after my er visit now and my eyes keep feeling like they re going cross eyed and getting stuck. I can t focus them and theres pressure on my eyes, makes me dizzy. We ve ruled out brain tumor or aneurysm with the clean ct, heart is apparently fine since the ekg was normal, though heart disease is prominent in my family. What could this be?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
As per your history is concerned your problem has many pathological reasons .So your local doctor has ruled out major pathological diseases from heart and neuro so check one point whether you have done ECHO and carotid angiogram or not ,if not done then tell them to ruled out (Fibromuscular Dysplasia).FMD occurs in most other medium-to-large arteries as well, including the coronary arteries, the pulmonary arteries, and the aorta. Tell them to do a physical exam (auscultation for carotid and vertebral artery bruits). Thanks
