What Causes Pain And Pressure In The Lower Abdomen?
Dear Mam/sir, I am in 8th month of my pregnancy. 8th month started on 27th March. And I feel pain and sometimes pressure on lower abdomen. My BP sometimes is also high. Doctors have suggested me some tests life LFT, 24 hours protein etc.which are high from the mentioned range. Like 24 hours urine protein is 285 . Doctors have suggested me micromized progstrone 200 and 12 mg betnasol injections. I want to know if there is any risk of early delivery or some other thing is there. My weight is 94 kgs. HB 10.6
Hi, I think if you have high bp records, you should start antihypertensive drugs like methyl dopamine or labetalol. Discuss with your doctor regarding this. Monitor your bp morning and evening daily. If BP is controlled on medicines, there is very little chance of early delivery. But if it is not controlled by medicines, then there may be a need to induce labour at 37 completed weeks. You are at a high risk of abruption and fetal growth retardation. So, monitor the fetal growth by repeated growth scans at 3 to 4 weeks interval. If there is any pain or bleeding, headache, decreased amount of urine, consult your doctor immediately.
